Abstract

We discuss dynamics of spatially distributed interacting populations.В The following two cases are discussed: (I.) migration waves for the caseВ or negligible random fluctuations of the populations densities and (II.) probabilityВ distributions of the spatially averaged populations densities for the case of
significant random fluctuations of these densities. For each of the cases we obtainВ in general a system of differential equations that is treated analytically (when possible)В or numerically. The obtained results are discussed from the point of view of
population dynamics.
